He won’t obey traffic signs either…..or at least they don’t in IA
I've driven all over this country. California isn't even in my top 5 States of worst drivers.

I’ve been in SoCal the last few days and I’m quite impressed with the overall courtesy and driving skills here. I’m not being sarcastic…being quite serious. Considering the traffic congestion, the drivers here are pretty chill. Even the most discourteous drivers i have encountered haven’t been all that offensive. (There are always a few anywhere you go).

Central Texas gets my vote. People drive like animals around here. A large portion are female I might add. The bikers are idiots IMO

Lane splitting is legal in Ca., and ebikes are really e-mopeds so all legal.
My kid has lived in S TX, NJ, and Hawaii; he has often said Hawaii was the worst.
I've driven through NJ, NY, the East Coast down to FLA, out to WA through the northern states from PA, and NJ is my vote.
I don't think any particular area has the worst drivers. If you take it easy, everywhere is quite OK.
There are, however, the worst type of drivers in specific models - Jetta and Grand Caravan drivers seem to cause most issues, and diesel pickup truck drivers seem to be the angriest.

Exactly - cities just have a concentration of them - but here in the country - they pull out when you are doing 60 mph - with nobody else in sight …
I live in NY, and New Jersey gets my vote. But, people in NJ say NY has the worst driver's. Ongoing debate.
If you've never driven in Minnesota you're in for a treat. People here can't seem to figure out the zipper merge and people will ride the left lane going 5mph under the posted speed limit. Throw a little snow in there and you may as well call in sick to work.
I was going to say MN as well, but was afraid of being tainted since I live in IA.
If a car is holding up traffic in the left lane, I guarantee the plates on the car will be, in order, MN, IL, or CA. Unless it is a hot shot, or a 3/4 ton pickup with a trailer, and then it doesn't matter what state it is from.
I drive to LA about once a month. It's not the drivers that are bad. It's the congestion. I live in San Diego County, and if you get down around the border, drivers are terrible.
