Woolwax for inside rocker panels, etc?

I daily a 1990 Toyota 4x4 frame is great, I use woolwax aerosol can version and climb under there a few times per winter. I don’t just pile it everywhere except the frame. Then any area I see any sign of surface rust. My summer vehicle 1994 E150 conversion van I only spot spray things being it never sees salt. Still looks new underneath.

Hmmm. I live and work near the Gulf and my truck gets some exposure to salty air. Its nowhere near as aggressive as the salted roads I saw in Midwest but the cumulative effects result in a fair amount of surface and fitting oxidation on steel bits. I like your approach. Maybe I'll give FF shot...
