Went to nearby thrift store today and found a Wix 57356 oil filter (fits my 03 Accord and 06 Elantra) in box for $1. Production code date is 09/16/2020.
I occasionally see an oil filter and/or engine air filter there. Bought a Motorcraft FL-1A (fits my 300 inline F 150) in box from same store a while back for $1 as well.
Anyone else ever find oil filter/ engine air filters at your local thrift store?

That's a trip! I've never seen auto parts at the thrift stores. Where in the store do they usually have them? I always go into them looking for records. Occasionally find a diamond in the rough. I've found some worth several hundred dollars for 25 cents (y)

This particular thrift store has a section of misc. stuff ranging from lawn and garden tools, to coffee cans full of nuts/bolts and the like. I see a couple of automotive things in this section on occasion such as brake pads, belts, air/oil filters. I try to stop in there once every couple weeks or so. A while back I bought a used but in good cond. Flo Tool brand 3 gal. oil recycling container for $3. Same item (part# 11849) is $16 at the local Northern Tool store.

At the Habit store I went to they had a shelf with several oil filters on it next to the lovo cabling, but I'm not sure they have a universal layout as I've never been to any other Habitat store, they had a lot of other filters there, but they were all like 20 years old.

Anytime I see oil filters at my local thrift stores they're usually priced the same if not higher than getting one brand new from Walmart.

do you guys share names for thrift store or goodwill store you have see oil filter?

Restore habitat for humanity usually has filters
