WIX Harley Davidson oil filters.

FYI..So WIX has a full line of Harley Davidson MC oil filters, I went to my local auto store and checked them out, WOW!!.what a nice looking & feeling filter compared to the one Harley sells, it even has the same 5 micron rating. I bought (2) at about $7 each. You can even get Chrome ones, I personally like the black.

going to a bike shop to get your oil filter is just uneducated, Im glad you found a better deal on quality filters. I used to swear by oem branded filters, not so much anymore.. there still good (OEM) but equal or better for less money can be had.

I try to explain some of this to the faithfulls around my parts.. most of them just wont bite.. they would rather spend the extra $ just becouse it came from the dealer.. i guess its a trust thing..

if I had a lawn mower with an oil filter that was be my new one!

maybe even cars that have small 3/4-16 filters

Thats for sure!!I will never go back and pay the crazy OEM price for a motorcycle oil filter. With the WIX you can easily see the difference in quality, its just a better bang for your buck. Thanks!

anyone have a virgin HD filter? I have seen used ones... but am just curious to see a virgin one. I know they are Champ filters, based on the same style as the K&N HP and Mobil 1 filters.
