Windows 7 problem

Trying to download a music file from sendspace. Friend of mine from a music forum upload an album there and emailed me the link. My Windows 7 HP laptop won't open the link/page for me to save it. I also tried to download Winzip on it (the file he sent me is a rar file. It downloaded a rar file just fine the other day (a Monkees bootleg lp).

What could be wrong?

What browser are you using? What antivirus?

I'm not having any problems despite the update.

It did a Windows update earlier today,but that particular update listed in the article isn't one of them. Browser is Internet Explorer (not sure which version,its whatever came on it new). Antivirus is Norton.

Just did a system restore and all is good now!

I think they've already have taken the update out

I had the bad update show up on mine but now I see they patched the patch with a new update. All is good.
