Windows 7 .net framework updates

Unless your machine is at 100% CPU and you'll know when that happens then don't play with it. If it's stuck, do the more common, universal Windows fix and reboot.

Otherwise it'll just come back later to finish whatever it was doing. The information contained in that link is just forcing it to do now whatever it wanted to do later.
 
It also causes it to use more CPU. So unless you want it to do its work, after you have done yours then I'd seriously just leave it be or reboot.
 
I had 15 updates. It only took only a few minutes for the .net update to finish with mscorsvw.exe
