Window regulator connection 2002 Sienna

So the driver's side window is going belly-up, for whatever reason, and a few months ago I sent off to RockAuto for supposedly the appropriate replacement regulator and motor assembly for my 2002 Sienna.
When I got it and we got everything apart I then noticed that the connections were totally different.
In the pictures the black is the new one the white is the old one.

So, what gives with that when they say this is the right thing for that vehicle, but it is not?

At this point I'm not sure what to search online for beyond asking for the right regulator and motor assembly for my year and model of car.

I am not certain, but it looks like your new one may be for the base CE trim Sienna vs. the old one from a LE/XLE trim Sienna. The two wire connection black plug suggests that it does not have the one-touch auto up/down function.

This^^ That is a $500 OE motor, the only one on Rock is a POS Cardone or Dorman, look for a used OE one.

This is the one for the left side.

i would take the old one apart and look for the cause ...and any possible backyard fix. I know most ppl wont do that ...so just get out your CC do it and be done.

I've had good luck with cheap no-name window regular/motor combo's purchased off eBay.
I would still rather have manual crank windows because they never fail.
