It worked on my 09 Buick, just wondering if there's an updated tool I need to purchase.

I think so especially on GM. It states for GM, FORD & CHRYSLER.
I have one but doesn’t work on some Imports.
I tried to use it on my daughter’s 06 mazda3 which had FORD calipers but none of the sides would line up.
