If you're gonna see a change in fuel economy, you would see it with my car. Hyundai Accent, 1.6L 5spd. This normally runs at close to 32-3300rpm on the highway (~70 mph).
I'm using 3qts of GC and 1/2 qt M1 0-40. I'm running a very thick 30 weight.
My last tank of gas saw 39.5 mpg. Last summer I didn't get less than 36, and I was running primarily Pennzoil 10w-30. So far on my current tank of gas I should be close to the 39mpg number too. My last tank of gas was my first with the summer blend fuel, also some warm days there.
My little motor has to work hard, but it seems to like the heavier oil, and I'm seeing no negative effect on mileage.
