LoL, agreed. Kind of like when Ford was quick to mention that the new F150's body was of "MILITARY grade aluminum" during the ad campaign.
 
To top it off, they will sell you a "competition" shirt so you can make believe that you are competing against the world's best for prestige, money, gifts and a kiss from the gal at the finish line.
 
We as a society have a tendency to over-dramatize things for a "shock-and-awe" effect. Prime example, my wife works at the high school and came home talking they were going to have an "active shooter" drill. Well, that's a redundant thing, because if the "shooter" were not "active", they would just be a person with a gun in a school, and still have committed a felony.

The less rugged humans become the more they pine for the appearance of being rugged. Thus, if you buy an SUV and a bunch of "tactical" gear you think you're ready for everything when, in reality, you're ready for nothing.
 
Let's not forget the word "homemade", even some commercial restaurants use the word homemade when where is it being made? In a house that is not inspected by the health department then brought to the restaurant heated? Refrigerated? How is it sealed, packaged, and transported?
 
Let's see: all natural, homemade, handmade, hand crafted, military grade, race derived, aerospace grade, precision crafted.

I'll stick to my el cheapo free T shirt. Afterall, we do precision guesswork and there is nothing more precise than free and more guessing than variable sizes.

I can't imagine the Glock or AR-15 toting, Ford F-150 driving and Realtree/Mossy Oak wearing man drinking Fieldwork beer. I live 15 minutes from them.

From their brewery? The strange thing about them is that even designer beer is pretty cheap. I've seen blue collar, construction worker types buying beer at one of their locations. It wasn't at the brewery though.

I'm not sure if they'd be willing to go anywhere near Berkeley though.
