Why I Hate Dealer Changes, How About You?

Haven't had issues with the Toyota dealer, but I don't go as I'd rather do an oil change at my leisure in my driveway (no paying extra, sitting around when I could be at work, etc).

I have found that my vehicles "need" more maintenance than indicated on the schedule. For instance, disc brake hardware needs to be dismantled and moving points lubricated, about once/year. Otherwise stuff freezes up. Dealership won't do that (and it cost me a set of brakes).

My Cadillac Dealer does a fantastic job. Not only do they use paper floor mats but they vacuum the interior and wash the exterior. Use DEXOS oil and filter and follow up a week later with satisfaction survey. They take appts and stick to them. In and out in an hour. Coffee and donuts in the customer waiting area.
