I agree with TooSlick on this one. The ASL 5w-30 cost less than $1 more than the XL7500. The ASL 5w-30 does not burn off like the Group III Amsoil or Mobil 1 5w-30 and you could do a longer interval. For less than $6 a quart, the ASL is tough to beat.

If the ASL starts burning, go to the Amsoil ATM 10w-30. I use this in my oil abuser 94 altima with good results on a 9 month OCI.

Lost big time. Only two things I here from him relate to thick vs thin oil.
