Is Castrol motor oil tested by BMW for their vehicles or by both companies? I know Castrol is recommended by BMW.Couldn't BMW pick another oil company for factory fill like Mobil or Shell?
Castrol offered them the best deal. Plus Castrol lends a certain level of supposed highbrow Euro-compatibility with the 'ultimate driving machine' that other oils simply cannot offer
