Who said it is illegal to sell land on the moon?

Apparently the Chinese are getting lawsuit happy like we Americans are... Hey, who said it is illegal, I am going to sue the authority for that. A Chinese company is fighting for the right to pitch plots of land on the moon for sale after authorities shut the scheme down

Ha ha. Land ownership is only ownership based on your ability to defend it. Most places, most times, the government does a good job of defending your ownership rights. Good luck on the moon.

Here in the good ole USofA no individual really owns land, you only rent if from the government who is the true owner. The rent bill usually arrives labeled school tax, property tax, or some similar name. If you doubt who the true owner is, try not paying and see who has final possession.
