Who has the better syn-blend Rotella or Mystik?

I noticed Wal-mart now carries gallons of the 10w30 Rotella syn-blend and it works out to be about the same cost as I pay for Mystik...thoughts?

There is nobody who doesn't work for Mystic who thinks they are better than Rotella. Rotella has to be one of the strongest brands with a consistently good product in shell's lineup, which is pretty good company.

That's not a rip on Mystic, but even if they were as good there's just such a large base of rotella users I'd buy that just to know what I'm doing is working for so many others. For the same price I'd rather be in the middle of the road.

That Rotella SB is a great oil. I've been looking for it and the standard Rotella Triple Protection 10w30 without success. Might have to stop by WM in upstate NY if I can't find it here.

My vote is for Rotella,just not allot of use on the Mystic around here to get any idea on the quality.

No, Mystic is owned by CITGO. Use to be made by CATO Oil in Oklahoma City.
