Who has the best price for Castrol 0W30 on the internet? Is there an actual store in socal/orange county that has it in stock?

+1 It costs too much, and it costs what it is supposed to maybe twice a year with the "5 quarts and a filter" sale. People wonder why Walmart is so popular. Have you SEEN what AutoZone charges for the stuff like oil, lubes, things you CAN get at WM? Thats why only parts are shopped for there, and they frequently cost more than OE/OEM! LOL That said, GC isnt a bad oil but it soes in fact cost too much meaning you must really have a dedicated application for it or a car that likes it or not mind its cost (money is no object type deal, or "its only 5 quarts i can spend $45" attitude) , as it is $9 a quart when its not on sale. $8.19, last i looked. $8.19. I could get a Royal Purple quart at Advance for that, or Walmart if i only wanted 5W-30 or 10W-30. (Their 0W-40 costs $11.99 a quart, so.)

Its hard to say, most dont buy GC. smile And this is also the OTHER reason where its use must be JUSTIFIED.

Actually, they have a bunch of specials on in conjunction with rebates. You can get Quaker State synthetic QSUD for $18 for five qts. and a Tough Guard filter... And GC (Castrol Edge) is also on sale: https://www.autozone.com/images/MEDIA_ProductCatalog/m920006_p5-rebate.pdf

Yeah, but your area is the exception not the rule. You can also "Buy AMSOIL in stores."

Hey bro, welcome. The larger AutoZones that have more room for the oil racks carry this oil. And all PepBoys carry it. It seems that PebBoys has more specials throughout the year for the Castrol Syntec oils. Hope this helps, Bill.
