Which vehicle do you fill up with 91 or 93 octane?

Nothin'.

But once in a while the Ranger gets 105 octane E85 because it's flex fuel. It seems to love the stuff. Now that it's getting warmer I'll probably get a tank soon. It has a hard time starting on E85 when it's really cold out.

Pretty cool that it runs great on either 87 or 105 octane IMO.

91 318i has no changeable timing - must have 91 or better.
04 Saab will advance up to 90 octane, no higher. Have seen a slight mpg drop on 87.
11 135i wants 91, haven't tried going lower.

My 1989 Corvette uses 91/93 octane fuel, but can run on 87 octane. (The on board computer monitors the knock sensor counts and retards the timing while increasing the injector fuel pulse time to compensate for the lower octane.)

Cruising on sixth gear on the highway I'm turning 1500 RPM and can run on 87 octane on long trips. (Don't want the lower octane fuel in the tank for stop and go traffic during hot weather! Too much knock.)

PT Cruiser.

Premium recommended or it knocks like a sonofa[gun]

Shell V-Power 93 octane in the Corvette (keeps gas gauge working and max power).

Any hi-test in the Murano.

Oh, hi-test in boat too (only thing Marina sells).

Jaguar xj12, Jaguar Xj8, Pontiac Solstice require 91 AKI or better.

Pontiac Torrent GXP and G8 are rated at 87 AKI, but the manual recommends 89AKI for max performance, so that is what they get.
