Which oil filter should I try next.

I don't mind the looks of the yellow PureONE ... installed on '05 Tacoma.

Man, you should have a trick billet endcap and o-ringed glass canister made and use the GM AC/Delco cartridge for the 3.6L CTS.
Then you could watch the oil. Maybe some neon or leds too!

Nothing at all buddy. I was just thinking of upgrading to a better filter so I make sure it hits 300k. I've even started doing drain & fill of tranny fluid every 10k. I have one more NapaProSelect left in my stash. That filter cost $3 so I wouldn't mind spending $5 for a filter with syn blend media.

i used to run frams, supertech and then when they had the 2 for 1 at amazon for the Pure ones for $5.88 I stocked up on them for car and bike.

pretty much any filter minus the self destructing frams will get you to 300k.
 
I would take a look at where it was made before I bought another Pro Select. Another thread claims they are now made in China. Of course, you may want to check the next ST too. Who knows anymore.
