Where to get OEM Ford Parts Online?

Was about to post the same thing, its planned obsolescence.
Ford doesn't stock OE parts after 10 years.
That is a pretty big generalization. I have some parts in stock that have a C8TZ prefix which are from 1968. I think I might have some B7A parts that fit a 8.8" diff but were first used in 1957. Some parts going obsolete are from the vendor going under. That being said I have more parts on backorder now than ever in my 14 years of doing Ford parts.

Call it school of hard knocks trying to source an engine harness for an 11 year old Ford E350 with the 5.4L.
For a fleet of over 1,000 Fords.

I've used Tasca.

FordPartsGiant

and

Gaudin Ford. (GaudinAutoParts)

Gaudin has the best service. IME

LakeLand Ford will take your oder and then cancel it when they can't get the part. The whole order, not just the thing they can't get. I will whittle one out of a chunk of plastic or aluminum with a dull old timer before I order anything from them again.

Tasca has done the same thing to me several times. And it will take weeks to get a refund.

Never had a problem with Lakeland Ford but they are about an hour drive from me so with large orders I will drive down there to pick it up.

Blue Springs Ford has been my favorite lately but I may have already posted that.

I was shocked at how many parts were still available from Ford on my 1994 Explorer and 1994 Ranger. Radius arms (cheaper than aftermarket too), air intake ducts, all kinds of switches and things, etc. 1994 was the last year many of the parts I bought had been used in a new vehicle, but I was buying them from a local Ford dealer in 2015-2020, and with recent production dates on the packaging. I suspect the air intake ducts were available entirely due to the number of these trucks still running around in CA.

But the ballast for my stupid neon brake light in the 97? Nahhhh...who needs to fix their overly complicated high mount stop light?

I've been going through changing bin locations for non stocked parts to SPORD and deleting min/max stocking quantities for them too. There were parts in the system that had bin locations from the Ford dealer we absorbed in 2007 that didn't have a movement since 2002....

Have you ever dealt with Green Sales or had them show on your locator?

http://www.greensalescompany.com/

They are very old school to say the least. Bought the last 93-94 Ranger taillamp harness in the country from them for my stupid green STX 4x4 that I sold.

When you sell those, can you reorder them and get them ?
Yes, I think they are differential parts. They only exist because they fit newer applications. A lot of the hearings used on diffs are old numbers that still work. Now the big question is do I WANT to stock them. We are actively trying to reduce inventory on hand to have minimal idle inventory (9 months with no sales).
