When did Mobil 1 gear oil become available?

While cleaning up my dad's garage I found some really old bottles of Trak Auto gear oil. They probably dated back to the late 80s if not the early 90s.

My dad worked for Mobil Oil and I am sure he would have bought Mobil 1 gear oil if it were available. He used Mobil 1 oil almost exclusively.

This makes me wonder, when was Mobil 1 gear oil first available?

I can tell you I recently used two quarts of Mobil 1 gear which was in my stash atleast for 15 years. I am sure it's been available much longer than that. Probably around 1974 when Mobil 1 was introduced to the market.

I’ve used the Mobil delvac gear oil off and on for a while, good stuff as far as I can tell.
