A certain major religion integrates pagan holidays and customs into their belief system, as the centuries go by.
And you still celebrate Christian holidays on the same days, just like those you think little of.
Before Halloween was called Halloween, it was Samhain, just another end of Summer, Beginning of Winter tradition from the ancestors of most people who originated in northern Europe. No better or worse than most other cultures in the past.
Nothing to get too bent out of shape about. These days, it's mostly about money, like most other things.
