Me too! Then having a going green agenda and killing people with high energy costs when we have all the oil we need right here in the good ole' US of A. Cut off the flow of domestic oil, become dependent on our enemies for higher priced oil while we wait to get the grid in place to go green, which can take 20+ or more years to do so. SMH. Want to see inflation tamed? Let the oil flow the way it was a few short years ago, prices on food and goods will come down, quickly. Rant off.Don't believe in going green at the extreme cost of something else. I am concerned for today, not a 100 years from now.
Yep. IMO letting the oil flow like it was not so long ago will tame inflation a lot faster than hiking interest rates, and intentionally destroying wealth in doing so.The problem with this whole "green" thing, is the people who are pushing it are doing so for political reasons. Not for the, "common good of man". It's all about control, not clean.
And most are idiots, and don't have a clue of what they're talking about. Saying things like, "If we don't pass the "Green New Deal", we'll all be dead in 10 years", just proves their complete lunacy and stupidity.

And that's the saddest part, other than the labeling those who don't go along as somehow against having a clean environment.Green isn't about green, it is about control.
When the sale of new leases is denied year after year, the red tape is both firmly in the way, and deliberately so.There are over 9000 (really, not a meme) untapped leases right here in the USA.
Oil company logistics are the sole reason this stuff isn't going to market.
Maybe they can't get laborers. Or equipment.
Or maybe they just prefer the status quo.
But the red tape is out of the way.
Never forget Tv watchers are the easiest people in society to fool.Which has been their real goal from the get go.

Prior to 2020 there were over 30k available leases and a clear environmental path to the necessary permits to drill. Not anymore. There are over 9000 (really, not a meme) untapped leases right here in the USA.

How can the Ukraine problem be fixed?Last time I checked, a month ago, the US "exported" more oil than it "imported". The US owns zero oil production. The big oil companies own them. They control them. Stock market controls the price of oil. Yes the President can lobby the OPEC nations to open or close the oil taps, but if they say no, it's no. Global market and the US is caught up in it. Seems everybody forgot about the pandemic causing LESS driving. LESS driving caused LESS gasoline usage = LESS price. Fix the Ukraine's being murdered by Putin and this price thing will fix itself.
There's a few BITOG users with weird oil beliefs, too. They seem pretty easy to fool as well.Never forget Tv watchers are the easiest people in society to fool.
You just quoted someone without a source. Who said that? Show us.The problem with this whole "green" thing, is the people who are pushing it are doing so for political reasons. Not for the, "common good of man". It's all about control, not clean.

Part of the problem is drillers are afraid of getting burned like the last time the middle east dumped oil on the market and made their high expense wells unprofitable to use.As for drilling for oil, the number of approved “Applications for Permit to Drill” (APDs) on Federal/BLM land was the HIGHEST in FY2021 than any year since 2008.

The notion that new drilling has been stopped is complete BS
