What's your favorite glass cleaner?

I use Sprayway on the exterior on Surf City on the interior. SC is safe for any surface (no alcohol) but IG works ok too.

My comment is that do not be fooled by alcohol evaporating. It may not be clean or you may see hazing later. The key to clean glass is a two towel approach..first apply glass cleaner and wipe well with a second dry towel to remove residue.

I like Stoners but when the glass needs a good deep cleaning, Duragloss NU Glass

I find sprayway superior to stoners if the glass is very dirty. stoners will take 2-3 applications to removed grime/bugs when sprayway will remove it in one application. stoners will leave the glass leave less streaks when it is the the last application though.

I use glass specific microfiber cloths and they work great, even with plain water.

I just use regular paper towels and they do fine with either of the above. No streaks or hazing. However, as another member said, I use 2 towels. The 1st you kind of clean/scrub the glass and then with the second one you dry/buff it.

BTW - both of these products work GREAT to remove bugs and pitch on your paint/chrome. Just park in the shade( need cool surface )and spray a good foamy patch over the "gunk". Let it sit for 30-60 seconds and then it comes off pretty easy( I use a piece of old t-shirt ). Might take 2-3 applications to completely disolve older deposits. Much less harmful to the paint than tar and bug removers.

Stoner invisible glass and two microfiber towel method works for me.

I also like Duragloss NU (NU-Glass) for removing water spots. I tend to give the windshield a NU buff when I replace the wipers blades, more often on the car that gets parked on the street. Duragloss also makes a good glass cleaner but my local carquest does not carry it so I look for Stoners when its on sale.

I have used several of the glass cleaners found at autozone or murrays. I always come back to Institutional strenght windex.
Me and the wife both smoke so our glass gets pretty messy (hers more than mine since I clean mine weekly) but have not found anything that cuts through the have like windex and a diaper.

Hmm nobody uses just windshield washer fluid and a microfiber, works great and is only about $1 a gallon plus is safe on tint.

Well, vinegar and newspaper was the thing to use in the days when my father was young(he would be 96 today!) and people were without money. People would clean the windows in their housed with it and it worked well and it was cheap. I never heard my father say that it worked better than glass cleaner, just cheaper. Today there are so many products to use.

Blue "huck" surgical cloths work great in my experience, especially on really grimy windows. Search for 'huck surgical' on ebay. I bought something like 75 of them for $10.

Windex makes a commercial-line concentrate that works very well.
I dulute it a bit stronger than normal for car windows and it really cuts the grime.

The Invisible Glass moistened wipes are pretty good. I carry a can with me on road trips to clean the windshield of bugs when I stop for gas. It works much better than what I expected and you just throw away the wipe when you are done. No mess! I recommend them.

Go to your local Honda dealer and get a can or pump of their "Honda" glass cleaner. Its amazing. I got a free can and pump through a vendor I use in my business. Its strong and is totally streak free. Excellent product.
Trust me, I've been cleaning and detailing cars for 20 years.

Looks like I'm in the minority...Rain-X Orange. I have used it exclusively on car windows and house windows for 8 years now. The more you use it the better it gets. The other thing is that I use it in the windshield washer.

Obviously the other good thing is that it repels rain. I'm sometimes tempted to try something else..then I ask why??

Well, I'm young and have no money!

The way I see it, I can pick up a gallon of plain vinegar for about $2, and that'll make two gallons of window cleaner. Windex is free because I know someone in industry that can buy it in bulk, so a gallon to her is nothing which means free for me. I take the old newspapers off of people (mostly for oil spills and compost) so they are free. A gallon of effective cleaner for one dollar is good in my book! (Sure I may not be able to see my reflection, but as ugly as I am that may be a good thing!)
