Something you've always wanted, maybe not something others would know about, or choose for you, so you pulled the trigger on your own, etc.?

After months of hemming and hawing, I feel, YES!! I am worth $117! (new with tags/authentic)

Apple Watch Series 10 in Silver Aluminum 46mm. It was on my Christmas list but my parents just couldn’t get it for me so I completely understood and was happy to reward myself with it. It arrived yesterday and I love it. Flawless design. Glad I didn’t get the 42mm. 46mm is the perfect size for me. I love it. Another happy Apple customer. The silver was an easy choice for me as I don’t like basic black and Silver looked amazing. With the Blue Cloud Sport Loop it just complements it so well.

A month ago I bought a Hohner Golden Melody in C. My old one was full of drool - don't ask. The sound of 'Man with a Harmonica' is the only thing that calms down Cuddles. Should really be in A minor but my monster dog doesn't know.

I upgraded it by replacing the plastic comb with an aluminum version.

Who is Ron Francis?
For me, it takes me back to 1985-1990. He was captain of the Hartford Whalers. I grew up in Hartford, and saw games 87-88. Even though I've been a Flyers fan for 25 years, the Whalers take me back to growing up. I worked at Mark Howe's former house doing construction, after he moved to Philly.

That's a sharp jersey! I'd love to get me the last of the Honda HRX mower from Home Depot and keep it in the box. Give to son in law in the future and let him enjoy it. But, alas...maybe I'll get the last one on clearance. Oh...I did buy a new 55" Hisense u7n TV. Just could not pass @ $499. Fantastic TV.

A aluminum circular saw blade to cut extrusions for a sim rig. First time with power tools since HS, it was fun. Might attempt to make my own work table.

Those vintage Whalers sweaters are awesome. The whale tail and the W forming an H in the negative space, and little whales on the shoulders ... I always loved that uni.

I wish they'd won a Cup in Hartford before moving to NC.

Showing my age now: I remember when they were the New England (rather than Hartford) Whalers.

The logo was designed by Peter Good of Chester CT. He was a friend and customer of mine.

They were in the WHA when I was a little kid. This part I can't remember--that is when they played in the Hartford Civic Center vs. Boston or Springfield. I have (maybe I should say I had as I don't know where it would be) a large circular patch with the harpoon. I can remember a classmate Chris singing Brass Bonanza when scoring while playing street hockey, and back then, it annoyed me! But today? It's likely the best goal song ever made....
