What's the difference between these two Mobil1 oils?

Saw these two containers of M1 EP on Amazon.
Is there any difference in the formulation of the oil in these two different jugs?
BTW, note the price differential.

The one on the bottom is the current API SP formula and the one o top is an older version I believe API SM

The top one is the old formulation and mobil AP was the 20k variant in that time but they discontinued AP and made EP the 20k oil.

I buy M1 EP 10W-30 at local Wal-Mart for $24.xx
M1 Euro FS 0W-40 is $22.xx at the store. Prices were as of few months ago.

I think it's same price at wm online. I prefer store in case it's leaking ...
Forget Amazon if you have a local store.

The difference is they people selling you the top Jugs are gouging you! And three months ago I bought the the bottome one at Walmart for $22 a Jug and change and got a rebate to bat on 3 Jugs.

More likely than not the top one will also be the current version; they are just using an older photo. Unless someone has a pallet of SM rated M1 and thinks it's more 3x more desirable?
