I am not cheap but I am going to do the Auto RX in both my cars so I want to buy something fairly cheap since I must change it a few times during the procedure.

Since I am at it you guys can recomend a good cheap filter too. I usually buy all the good stuff but dont see a big need while doing this cleanup.

thanks

Mike

for an auto-rx procedure Id likely want to use a dino HDEO. Though its 15w-40, itll be the best cleaning oil, IMO.

Otherwise, Havoline shows great results and can be found super cheap.

Speaking again of WalMart, was in there today and saw basic Chevron dino for like $0.74/quart. The SuperTech was $0.90+/quart. Isn't the basic Chevron dino supposed to be really good oil?

Chevron Supreme is a great oil for not alot of money and a high quality filter will help to catch all the carbon cleaned off .

Just wait till the folks at Amsoil hear about this.

When I bring in the oil filter, my Mercury dealership will change oil in my Dodge and Honda for $12.00 with Motorcraft 5W-20. I also get my oil changed there for my Sable as well.
