I noticed it yesterday but it went away after closing it once. I don't know why a website wants to do push notifications.

It seems like every website wants to! I disable it in the Chrome settings menu so I don't get the question all the time.

Whenever a web site gets some new info or whatever, it sends you a notification telling, "Hey look!! New stiff to look at!!"

We enabled push notifications a couple days ago, as the latest version of Xenforo now support them. The only notifications you'll get are the notifications you have set in your profile. If you don't want to get push notifications, just turn them off in your profile => preferences = disable push notifications.
