Does this oil still exist?
Saw it last time 2 years ago, at an autozone.
At the time, "word on the street" was it was a PAO.

Haven't seen it since.
What with the merger with MOBIL maybe they dropped it as a competitor to MOBIL1?

Dunno...

I think that's pretty much it. With the merger of Exxon and Mobil, the synthetic market (at least in North America) has been given over to Mobil 1. I think Esso Ultron synthetic is still marketed in Europe, however.

I paid $2 a quart a few weeks ago for SJ 10w-30, 5w-50 Superflo. 12q, AutoZone. I'll use it in Mom's car.

I used it in my '96 Contour w/2.0L Zetec. I liked it and it was reasonable. I usually paid about $1.75/qt when the store had sales on it. But I haven't seen it in years. In fact I have an unopened lone gold bottle of it, 5W-30, on my shelf of orphaned oils

. I'm sorry I didn't have the foresight to stock up on it like you guys with GC and Patman with any oil!
