Well,after you get the tires rotated and balanced...or replaced ,check the tie rods ,ball joints and bearings.
If you're on the original shocks, they're done ..replace.
edit .I had an S-10 2.2/5 speed '94 ,I recall wind buffeting was a bit strange in that it was a light vehicle and it was somewhat aero for the time but it got pushed around at highway speeds.
