These are my options, none of which I really like:

1. Mix it with regular 5W30 oil -- used in a '92 Lexus LS400 mixed with 4.5qts of regular dino or Motorcraft 10W30 which I hope will be syn blend by the time I need to use it (next summer).

2. Mix it with 4.5qts of GC in a 10k miles Infiniti FX35 -- will I be banned by the GC fanatics for contaminating this sacred potion?

3. Mix it with 4 qts of GC in an '01 Chrysler T&C minivan with 62k mi

4. Mix it with 4 qts of M1 0W20 in a Honda Element with 6k mi

least chance for additive clash, and close enough viscosities (high 20wt mixed with a bit of low 30wt).

Since you probably don't have a snowblower in SoCal, I agree put it in the lawnmower. My mower is a 2-stroke Lawn-Boy so the leftover M1 goes into the snowblower.

Thank you Board

for making me realize these options aren't that great. Option 5 makes sense, if this Board (Patman, Pscholte -- fess up!) didn't sway me into a stockpile of GC.

I finally remembered my bro in law is still using M1, albeit 10W30 -- and is a willing recipient

So that's it -- Option 6 -- Give to bro in law to mix with 4.5 qts of Mobil 1 10W30 in a '97 Infiniti Q45 with 75k miles.

If it were SLX, and I could spare it, it could provide the foundation for a nice caramelized salmon dish...but M1? I just don't know...

Jagabom -- not everyone needs to cut grass.

1. If you live in an apt / condo, you have no lawn.

2. I have my gardener do it. I could put it in his lawnmower -- but I pay him enough, so he can get his own.
