WHAT OIL TO USE IN A 2011 FORD ECO-BOOST ENGINE?

I have the 2011 F-150 4x4 ECOBOOST. I dumped factory fill (Motorcraft 5w-30) and oil filter at 2500 miles.

Refilled with Pennzoil Platinum 10w-30 and the larger oil filter...

Lets see a new vehicle??? What does Ford recommend??? there should be a recommendation in the owners manual that will let the engine live as long as it is designed to last. You are putting a whole lot of thought into something that shouldn't require any.

SteveS you're right but that would eliminate 99% of BITOG threads.
If oil pressure or at least oil temperature doesn't come up in the discussion of "what oil to use" you're pretty much discussing what's fashionable which has about as much technical merit as, well, fashion.
