What! No time circuit/flux capacitor option?

In the world of "retro styling", one can see the appeal of the classic attempts (Camaro, Challenger, T-bird)...but how many people will be so attached/motivated by the Back to the Future car?

I wonder if this vehicle will become a pretty paperweight like the Fiskars car.

They don’t necessarily have to sell a ton. It may appeal to some, it’s not intended to be a commodity product. Ive driven EV Shelby Cobra kits, signed by Shelby. Nobody is going to drive to Trader Joe’s in one. They still have their place if folks are willing to buy…

Oh I would be. This seems like a faithful modern version of it.

I don't buy $250k cars though.

For real though I'm in love with this thing. They picked the perfect wheels that look modern and throw back to the stock wheels.

There is an original Delorean in a nearby neighborhood. At Halloween the owners dress up as the Doc and Marty and surprise groups of trick-or-treaters with candy as they drive it around. Rigged up a dry ice system that spits out some steam from under the car when they open the doors. Fun to watch. A clip with the car:
