What manufacturers recommend what oil.

My wife's 2015 Pathfinder is the same way. The last shop done oil change I had to break out the manual to "allow" him to use 5w30. His computer said SAE20 and by golly he wasn't allowed to deviate from that unless proven otherwise.
 
Our Hyundai dealer uses Quaker State. Down the street, at the Kia dealer, they use Conoco Phillips (Kendall, motorcraft.). Same engines in most cases, so must be advertising, period.

Who would have thought?

Acea does not rate M1 acceptable for use in a gasoline high performance engine for extended oc intervals.

My cap calls for 710.
