Mine decided that it would be a great prank to make me sweat all the way home by making the cabin fan die today. I sprayed the vent holes with WD-40 and I'll just hope that'll unstuck the fan or something.

It told me that the warranty expired and consequently would self destruct in 3....2....1
The Liberty decided to loose a brake caliper bolt. Luckily I had one and some Loctite at home!
A large orange gear and transmission fault in center dispaly accompanied by blinking D on my 07 MDX.
My car refused to start until I filled it with Amsoil or Red Line to prove that I really loved it.
I retaliated by trading it in on a Slingshot, I think that will be the perfect vehicle for ski weekends in the Whites.
My 31 year old BMW has decided to start leaking fuel from several locations (fuel filter, fuel pump etc).
This is after i JUST finished fixing all the engine oil leaks 
Considering it's mostly original hoses from the late 80's, I guess it makes sense.
And yes, I make sure to keep a fire extinguisher in the passenger compartment at all times.
If I didn't have this BMW anymore, I wouldn't look at the marque again!
But it's just because it's so pretty, and I get compliments on it all the time including:
"wow, that's 31 years old?!". Guess it kinda boosts my ego (while draining my wallet)
Considering it's mostly original hoses from the late 80's, I guess it makes sense.

Told me it wanted a few gallons of MMO added to the crankcase.
Not today but over the weekend the M5 starting throwing an airbag light. Fault is for the drivers airbag, that was replaced 2/17 during the Takata recall, and just so happens to fall outside of their 2 year warranty. Just about 800$ for a new one wholesale...
Mine had bird crap on it this morning after I washed and waxed it yesterday.
Washed Saturday, dirty again now.
Didn't want to take a chance on something happening to my car so I drove my truck!

My Explorer didn't set the ABS light all day until this evening. I don't think the ABS works regardless of the light anyway.
I filled up the gas tank a few days ago, drove it, drove another 45 minutes the morning of the 1st, then after 5 minutes of evening driving, the dash says the gas cap is loose.
It looked fine, felt fine. Unscrewed it, screwed it back on, dash warning went away.
Until this thread, I hadn't considered that it was due to the car having a sense of humor about April Fool's Day, but now it all makes perfect sense.
My '93 Sundance pulled a joke on me during a road trip from Gillette, WY to Denver. I was there for a few days at the beginning of April, and on April 1, I started it at the hotel, and the airbag light stayed illuminated during the whole drive across town.
I shut it off when I got where I was going, and re-started. Airbag light cycled as usual, and went out. WHEW. Not funny.
I didn't drive anywhere on April 1st, but the day before the TPMS light on my Sienna came on. Front driver's side tire is leaking at the valve stem. One of those TPMS sensor rebuild kits should fix it.
My Mountaineer is in the garage all winter what does it have to complain about.
