What is trlinium?

Hello, I have question. What is trilinium? Is this a commercial name or real product. What are the physical and chemical properties of this additive. Additional info - It come across when I read article over DuPont "Finish Line" products. Mister google does not help me a lot and I decide to ask the chemical specialist in this forum. Its not a DuPont product. Its a Finish Line ( http://www.finishlineusa.com/ ) product. They use Teflon, and Finish Line NEVER mentions "trilinium" anywhere on their label or ingredients or marketing material. Never.

Where have you ever seen the word "trilinium" used in association with any of Finish Line's products, either dry lube or greases? They only mention they have Teflon, thats all. You might have seen Niagara Cycles, an online retailer of bicycle stuff, accidentally add the word trilinium to their website, but its not part of the product.

They stole it from McDonald's...Special Sauce. Trilinium is rendered from Platformate. Shell Oil charges a hefty royalty but it doesn't add too much premium due to the small amount used in greases.

Again, Finish Line doesn't ("doesn't" means "does not" in English) say they use it. The other two you list do have it.

They are all Marketing (Hype) names given to certain lines of additive packages. I'll go with secret sauce it has a certain ring to it. M1 oil with secret sauce. Secret sauce is used to prolong the life of NASCAR engines . Secret sauce reduces engine wear during start up and heavier loads, increases horse power and Miles per gallon as well as stabilizing the oil and reducing emissions.
