This is coming up all over the place. Can pull it up easy as it has small root structure.

Problem is it is mixed in with some good stuff

Can't weed eat or mow.

Could be...I've done a lot of searching and didn't find what you did. Thanks!

I've sent pics to "DoMyOwn.com" and they should know.

I think I see some spikes on a few leaf tips. My guess is Palmer amaranth.

Looks like burnweed.

Extracted oil can be used as a treatment for hemorrhoids (if you have that issue). It has also been used a treatment for gonorrhea and can be eaten raw in salad.

Erigeron canadensis (synonym Conyza canadensis) is an annual plant native throughout most of North America and Central America. It is also widely naturalized in Eurasia and Australia. Common names include horseweed, Canadian horseweed, Canadian fleabane, coltstail, marestail, and butterweed.

I think Pike51 might have nailed it ....this is the relatively young stage: https://weedid.cals.vt.edu/weedimg/273

For the OP's state, this is a pretty good dichotomous key below, but like all of them, you sometimes have to have someone teach you the difference between one choice and the next.

EDIT: BIG OOPS - Looks like ARCOgraphite wins the prize.
