What is this thing?

It was given to me. I have no idea what it is, but I use it to organize thin brass stock. It looks like it may have been used to display thin arrows. The background is green felt. 15 x 19" or thereabouts.

Hmmm....25 slots in each wood strip......Does it hold 100 of something...or 50?

How deep is each cut?

Each cut is angled downwards and 1/4 inch deep at the bottom. I suspect that the device holds 25 long rods of some type, probably fragile ones that need a lot of support. Blowgun darts? I showed it earlier to a technical analyst and he replied by giving me the finger.

No idea. It seems to have never been used. There are no "shadows" imprinted due to the felt fading over time.

I know how to repurpose anything, I tell ya!
