I have seen a new version of the Quakerstate oil called 'Q' and am wondering if anyone has info on it. I have not been able to get much real data on their website.

It's just quaker states new marketing. I would bet the oil is nothing new, just the packaging and the ad campaign.

For information on this and other Q oils you can call 1-800-bestoil. I called them today and the Q Synthetic is group III. At least that's what they told me.

I don't know how my engines ever survived without heat activated molicules!

I wonder how much-more Blackstone would charge to add a "heat molecule" index?...lol

How many heat molecules are there in (1) gram?...lol

That is funny.....

The site/adds are well done. What blows my mind though are the people that critcize Amsoil for hyped up marketing then believe this stiff because it a big name product with a big time budget. This campaign is as hyped as one can get IMO.

It will be interesting to see some oil analysis (both Virgin and used) to see what this stuff is made of/perofrms. My bet is the "heat activated molecules" are soluable moly.

Any more thoughts?

I thought all motor oil is heat-activated?! That's the reason you can get a better UOA with a car run at 195-215 degrees as opposed to 160 degrees.
