What is Rotella T 15w 40 engine oil Zddp level

What is Rotella T 15w 40 engine oil Zddp level? I have a 80 T/A turbo and would like to know what oilhas enough ZDDp in it for the flat tappet cam shaft.

Most of the Rotella come in at a little over 1000 ppm.

Redline oil would be a good choice if you want alot of ZDDP and turbo protection.

Royal Purple XPR line has alot of ZDDP also.

Brad Penn Oil too.

Id run Rotella T6 Synthetic in your car and not worry about it. Runs fine in several of our flat tappet V8's.

what about the chance of leaking in an 30 tear old engine with 74.000 miles?

That might be a possiblity due to a Syn oils better cleaning ability and you had some crude plugging up a bad area of a hard shrunken up seal. But today's oils have seal additives to help with possible seal issues.

1000 PPM is all you really need,any HDEO will have that also M1 5/1030HM, 0w40,TDT all have that and more.

M1 15w50 is a killer choice too loaded up.

Remember oils have improved incredibly since 1980.

Im running Mystik JT8. Mystik lists the zinc at 1300ppm.
