You are right. Also, Fiat already has people in place to run Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep -- and it did not need to get approval from the Obama administration to hire them.
GM cannot succeed as long as it is owned by the federal government. It does not matter how many directors on the board of directors are actually from the government -- the others will not overrule the government directors.
