What exactly is Auto-RX

I searched and there are hundreds of threads talking about it but I don't really understand what it is and why it's important?

ARX is a set of special esters that cleans the internals of engines, transmissions, power steering units, while conditioning seals, etc.

It sounds like a too good to be true potion. But the stuff does an awesome job cleaning.
It stopped a high RPM lifter noise, and also a pinging problem I had.

I,m not one to promote this type of product, but it works well.
From my reserch and experience I would venture to say it is the best product on the market for cleaning internals............

Auto-rx is a natural based cleaner. It doesn't contain solvents, harsh cleaners and what not to clean engines. That said, it's a slow but very effective cleaner and don't worry about oil thinning as you would associate with OTC cleaners since ARX doesn't contain harsh cleaners. It cleans as you drive your vehicle. It's primary purposes are to help stop oil leaks by way of reconditioning seals and gaskets, remove sludge and then suspending the sludge(I think?) and stop oil consumption. Though if your trying to remove varnish, LC ( Lube Control) would work better for this as it contains solvents but to a point.
