Any wonder why at 0-40 engines might use oil ?

As hard as I try I can see no relevance comparing motor oil to window putty/blood/peanut butter/etc.

I think a few STP oil adds would score higher in that list than the window putty... That list did make me hungry though.

One lesson to be learned, I suppose, is the inadvisability to use caulk as a lubricant.
