oh no, without top-tier gas how did cars work years ago! Little crazy folks. Throw in some add once a year to clean and maybe some MMO to gain MPG and be done...I have used FP and FP+ but MMO wins for mpg gains. I have used Citgo, Flying J, Mobil, BP, Shell, Pride, Hess, BJ, Stop and Shop, Conoco and a few others.... and auto works great...

Define "cheapest". With gas pushig the $3 mark, the Shells, BP's etc. around me are within 5% of the cheap, no-name stations. The Hess and BP near me are always within a nickel of each other. Guess which one I frequent. I do notice idle-quality differences between say Hess/Citgo and BP. Silky-smooth on BP, a bit of shaking on the others.
I wish we had a BP in my area. Philly stole them all
Have two near me
Stupid BP stations! ARGH!

wife has used "Raceway" gas in her Tahoe for the last 5 years because it is right around the corner and she doesn't want to go out of her way for anything. The Raceway is actually more expensive than other stations because they add a dime a gallon for credit card sales. I only drive the truck a couple of time a year, but it runs really really well. I throw Techron Concentrate in it once a year Steve Steve
