Vehicle: 1969 Dodge Charger RT 440/727 Application: Daily Driver / Autobahn / Performance oriented street driving / Long distance driving / City Traffic Oil & Fluid Selection: For use with 727 and Power Steering https://www.rektol-klassik.de/produ...l-ATF-300---Dexron-III.html&Liter=20 For use with Differential https://www.rektol-klassik.de/produ...-SAE-80W-90---API-GL-5.html&Liter=20 For use with 440 https://www.rektol-klassik.de/produ...SAE-10W-30---API-SE-CC.html&Liter=20 Antifreeze / Coolant https://www.amazon.de/Mopar-K%C3%BChlerfrostschutz-50-785-MS-9769G/dp/B007O3YFY8 Brake Fluid https://www.moparshop.com/Online-Shop/OEle-Dichtmittel/1836/Bremsfluessigkeit-DOT-4 Notes I came up with this selection doing research. Doing research i noticed that there is not really a "one size fits all" solution and that there are endless debates about the right oil going on. Thats why i also specified what the car will be used for. I did not find much about what oil to use in the differential. Hope i picked the right one? I choosed to go with Rektol for all the oils in the car because i already used their products in the past and always worked out great. Also like the idea of just using oil from one brand. So if possible i would stick with this brand for all different oils i need, except i need a oil they dont offer. I know about this expensive evans waterless coolant. But as i said its pretty expensive so im not sure if its worth it. So what do you think? Did i picked the right stuff or would you replace one or another of the products mentioned above?

I think few in the US will be able to comment as you have picked some products that are not widely available in the US. Widely available in the US means shelves of Walmart or a few mail order (and local dealer) like Amsoil.

Most important for me is if i picked the right type of oil for the application rather than the brand. e.g. if 10w30 (with high ZDDP) is the right choice for example.

That motor oil is specified as API level SE which was superseded in 1979. SE oil meets the minimum specifications for your engine, but more modern oils are far superior to what was available back then.

I just purchased the car and its on its way to germany right now. It will arrive in a few weeks. smile I figured it would be a good idea to perform a big service including the change of all fluids bevor any serious driving. But im not an oil expert so this is why i started this thread.

I thought it would be a good idea to use oil that was also used back in the days and stay away from that modern synthetic stuff? What exactly would you recommend and why? What do you guys think about the (type of) oil i picked for the differential and transmission/power steering?

Need a translator for the Klassik, but it appears to be good stuff. My buddy bought a '69 Road Runner when we did the bro trip to Mecum in January. He runs Amsoil in everything.
