What do I do with 2.5 gallons of hardly used Mobil 1 15/50?

I hate to just throw it away.

I was thinking of cleanly removing it, and running it in another six cylinder Jag that has about 220,000 miles on it.

The intended recepient has gone that 220K on Supertech, Motorvator, whatever is dirt cheap, so used Mobil 1 would be a BIG step up for it ...

If it is a good viscosity match (and maybe at 220K just about anything thick is a good viscosity match) I say use it. You made the key point, M1 will be a step up from "anything cheap," so why not?

Given a clean drain into a clean pan, why not? Might be the best oil the other car's ever had!

If you run M1 or any other oil, mix it up with what your using...just a thought.
