I have that one my oldest son gave me when it was released. It sure brought back memories. I cant recall which show it was..... it was one of those Friday nite Rock Concerts or a Midnight Special shows where I was waiting to see Steely Dan for the first time. It was the original band with all the founding members including one of my favorite guitarist , the future "Doobie Bro" Mr Skunk Baxter. S.D. was promoting the Can't Buy A Thrill release. Then The Eagles who I had actually not even heard of popped out doing songs from Desperado. Good memories. If I had to guess the show must have been summer of 1974 or maybe some time in 1975. Steely Dan's original founding line up did not last long at all. Becker and Fagan somehow (I don't think the others cared at that point) took 100% control and fired everyone else. They did not want to tour so they lived in studios and became the very successful and reclusive award winning music monster they eventually became.Yes , I have the D.V.D. set .
