What are good thermostat brands?

I Stand corrected on the BA then. I don't do near as much work as you do so I value and trust your opinion. Since they rebox, I guess the odds were just in my favor lol. I would have also refused the Uro brand.

A few years ago that was the case, almost everything from B&A was reboxed OE and top shelf for brake pads and rotors, I dont know what happened for them to change their business model. It killed sales from a lot of people.

Why does everyone get so bent out of shape about thermostats? Just go to the dealer and spend the 20 dollars on the Oem one that is probably just a stant and then spend the rest of your time with the gf/wife or both.

Trav: have you tried SHAW brand stats? When I worked in AZ we found them to be the "go to" stat as they were high flow and extremely accurate. Not cheap but worth the money at the time.

Robert Shaw thermostats were high quality, made in U.S.A but I haven't seen them in a very long time. I think they are no longer in business.
