Noisy with the concrete flooring.
No climate control or mechanical ventilation system. Poor indoor air quality.
House appears to be an attempt to revisit the old "solar homes" of the 1970's which heavily relied upon thermal mass of the dwelling and daily sunshine for heat.
Solar panels out back and copious use of LED lighting suggests this may be an off grid home. Battery pack is probably in the shed.
Hard pass.

Re-sculpt the roof a bit and you can have a minigolf course up there. Otherwise, not my style and a little weird for my taste. Adding at least 4 garage bays, a drive over maintenance pit, and a lift might convince me though.

I'm not a fan of the Home Depot $1.19 a square yard fake turf "roof". Was it supposed to be something else, such as native plants and cacti? A bright green wrinkled mess like that couldn't have been the final plan.

I'd also be investing in a pergola over a portion of the patio.

And surely something could be done with some of the concrete floors.... I'm thinking the self-stick 2 foot by 2 foot commercial carpet tiles in some sort, to add some design and color.

Yeah but at least you get to play golf ( Scottish highland style ) on your roof.

I’m not a fan of the concrete floor left exposed like that in the living area, I would rather wood and carpet where appropriate, also that green felt like covering on the roof looks terrible, why didn’t they just plant it out with some native low maintenance greenery

That looks like a sheet of green plastic turf at best.

I don't think it’s a lawn…
I was just joking.

I do hate cutting grass though ( had a small landscaping company when young to pay for my flying ).

If it was real grass, I would be envious, it's very green ( lawn envy ...former landscaper )
