Alright, disappointment is sure to follow!

As I may have mentioned, I live only a couple hundred yards from the beach. Thursday evening I went for a short bike ride up and down along Ocean Beach. I noticed a whale close to the shore. The shot is unfortunately bad, please blame the photog and not his gear!

Shot from the promenade behind the sea wall along Ocean Beach is one of the windmills in Golden Gate park. I believe Tempest may have been placing charges at the time. Apparently he has issues with windmills -- with any kind of windmill!

The sea wall along the beach. You are looking down an access ramp. Far in the back, on top of the cliff you can see Cliff House. In the misty background, across the Golden Gate, you are looking at the Marin County coastal range with Mount Tamalpais having the highest peak.

The old Cliff House looked really cool and creepy:

Those colorful sunsets ("Finepix moment" -- Kodachrome is dead!

) get a tad nauseating when you see them every day! You are looking at the Point Bonita lighthouse (if you know where it is).

Nice shots, even the whale one, it was good even to get the "spout". From the predigital age we have pics of when we went sea kayaking with feeding humpbacks and even when your 100' away its hard to get a good shot of them... I doubt we have any that I'd be proud to post.

Sorry, I just couldn't pass that up...

I used my girlfriend's point&shoot. Does that help?

I have to be up at 5 am in the morning to see the sun over water. Nice work.
