Issue:
Type something in search field in Google.
Click on one of the links - go to that page (opens in same tab).
Done reading, click Back Button on mouse (or browser back arrow).
Normally, I should get the page with the original Google search results, right? But what I get is a GLIMPSE of the results page for like a mili second, then an EMPTY white page that looks like this: (I have to refresh the page in order to display the original search results!):

What can be causing this ? Thanks IA.

I second this. Also, make sure your computer's date and time are correct. This has caused weirdities to happen to me before.

Thanks for all the replies

- clearing cache/history etc did not fix it, but this immediately solved the issue( I should have looked a bit harder before posting):

1. Go to FireFox's configuration editor by typing about:config where you'd type a URL address and press Enter.

2. Scroll down to Browser.sessionhistory.max total viewers.
It is probably set to -1.
Change it to 0 (not 1, not 2, but ZERO).

Install and use the free Click & Clean for Firefox.

There is a version of it for Google Chrome too. I have used it a long time and swear by it.

Spend some time on their web site reading about it.

More features than you can shake a stick at!

Thanks. Appreciate the input. will def. check the link out.

As I stated in my last post, the issue has been resolved.
Works fine now.

Ive been saying for a long time that google puts intermediate tracking pages when you click a link. Some browsers deal better than others...
